Joe Rogan recently opened up about why Kamala Harris didn’t appear on his podcast before the 2024 election. Even though he had President Trump on the show in October, Harris didn’t follow suit.
Rogan had shown interest in interviewing Harris, who was the vice president at the time, during his chat with Trump. However, despite discussions with Harris’s team, she didn’t end up on the Joe Rogan Experience, which has a massive following of 14.5 million on Spotify.
During a recent podcast with guest Dan Richards, Rogan explained that conflicting schedules were the reason Harris didn’t make it onto the show. He had already committed to doing a live UFC podcast on the same day as the proposed interview with Harris, causing timing issues.
Rogan clarified that while there were talks about the interview, claims made in a new book about demands he supposedly made for the podcast were false. He stressed that Harris’s team never officially agreed to the interview and that there were misunderstandings about guest scheduling.
Despite missing out on the opportunity to interview Harris, Rogan is still dedicated to having meaningful conversations on his podcast. Even though the Harris interview didn’t happen, Rogan continues to host a wide range of guests and cover diverse topics on his popular show.
