Joe Rogan called out by his own podcast fans after breaking ‘promise’ he made on JRE – UFC News

Fans of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast are not happy with host Joe Rogan after he broke a promise he made early on in the show’s history. Since starting in 2009, Rogan has had over 2,000 episodes with a variety of guests, from MMA fighters to comedians to scientists. In 2020, Spotify bought the podcast for around $200 million.

Rogan has had some big names on his show, including Elon Musk, Mike Tyson, and Donald Trump. Some believe Rogan’s endorsement of Trump on the show played a role in his re-election last year.

Despite saying he would never interrupt his conversations with mid-podcast ads, Rogan has recently started including unskippable advertisements. Fans have expressed their disappointment on Reddit, feeling that this decision goes against Rogan’s previous stance and disrupts the listening experience for paying subscribers.

Rogan’s choice to include mid-stream ads has upset his loyal fan base, who feel betrayed by the host going back on his word. The conversation around this issue continues as listeners come to terms with ads interrupting their favorite podcast.
