David Beckham: A New Chapter at 50

When you think of David Beckham, you might picture a life filled with the excitement of a legendary soccer career, high-profile modeling opportunities, and memorable guest spots on shows such as “Modern Family.” You wouldn’t be wrong. However, as he approaches his 50th birthday, Beckham’s journey is taking an unexpected shift. He’s stepping into a new role as the owner of the Inter Miami soccer club, focusing on quality family time, and… believe it or not… exploring the world of beekeeping?

That’s right! We had the opportunity to chat with the iconic athlete, who is featured on the cover of Men’s Health, to uncover what life looks like for him at this milestone age. When discussing how he manages stress, Beckham shared that he loves taking long rides on his motorcycle, enjoying the open road. Yet, he also finds peace in nurturing his farm at his picturesque countryside home.

“I take great joy in my chickens and my garden, spending time with friends, and savoring a pint or a nice glass of wine,” he explained. “At our country house, we have chickens and a vegetable garden, which I truly cherish.”

But here’s the kicker: Beckham has ventured into beekeeping and even collects honey from his very own beehive. “Every time we harvest the honey and I see it spread out in my kitchen, it’s a profoundly emotional moment for me. I turn to my kids, looking for their admiration, and they just shrug it off with a casual ‘Yeah, whatever, Dad.’ Still, it’s so rewarding, and I plan to keep it up,” he said with a smile.
